After the first part, many families and children walked along the path and did not continue. Although the second half of the trail is less crowded, it is still one of Yosemite's most popular hiking routes, so you won't be alone. The next part of the trail includes a granite staircase that takes you to the spring waterfall. This is where you get wet. I had to put my phone and camera in a waterproof backpack. (This is where GoPro can come in handy!) The waterfall is pouring on us! But in the 95 degrees of weather, this is amazing. This is one of my favorite hiking spots; it gets soaked as we walk along one of the most beautiful waterfalls.
